This collection contains a final grant report on “The Life and Legacy of Henry Norwood,” from the South Sebastian County Historical Society, and funded through the Curtis H. Sykes memorial grant project. Report reflects the SSCHS’s project to document the lives of former slaves, Henry Norwood (b. 1848) and William Norwood in the White Oak Community south of Greenwood, Arkansas; and the SSCHS’s project to mark the Norwood family cemetery.
