This collection contains one 22-page pamphlet containing the text of a speech given by I.H. Nakdimen, president of City National Bank of Fort Smith before the Arkansas Legislative Committee repealing Act No. 118, dated February 7, 1924.

Biographical/Historical Note

This pamphlet is a critique of a bill (Act 118) which prohibited banks from paying more than 4% interest on savings accounts, and why Mr. Nakdimen introduced his own bill to repeal this law.
