This collection contains one printed newspaper notice for Conway County (Ark.) taxpayers by County Sheriff and collector P.H. Spears, dated 1884.
Biographical/Historical Note
Conway County was established in 1825 and named for legislator Henry Wharton Conway of the Conway-Johnson-Rector family, who were dominant in the Arkansas Territory. This printed notice lists fourteen townships in Conway County along with the dates which county sheriff and tax collector P.H. Spears would be there.
