This collection contains two letters and a typed copy of one of the letters written to Kitty Nelson from the Arkansas State Penitentiary in 1901 and 1902.
Biographical/Historical Note
The letters in this collection were written to Kitty Nelson to inform her of her husband's death and burial at Little's Camp, Lollie, Arkansas, on September 17, 1901. W.H. Nelson was serving five years a the Arkansas State Penitentiary on the charge of murder.
