Biographical/Historical Note
The Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission was established by Act 87 of 1963. It has authority over supervision of livestock and poultry sanitary work and the control, suppression, and eradication of livestock and poultry diseases in the state. It also administers laws and regulations pertaining to livestock and poultry and has the duty for development of the livestock and poultry industry in Arkansas.
