Roswell Beebe gave this Bible to Julia McMillin in 1848. It contains five pages of information pertaining to the McMillin, Beebe, and Fraser families.

Biographical/Historical Note

Roswell Beebe, for whom Beebe, Arkansas, is named, donated the land for Arkansas's first state capitol building (now the Old State House). On August 14, 1848, Roswell Beebe gave this Bible to Julia McMillin, who later became his second wife. After Beebe’s death in 1856, Julia married Thomas Fraser. The Bible documents her marriages and children.
