The Abstract of Title in this collection was prepared by A.B. Couch for Sarah E. Pere for lands in Van Buren County, Arkansas. Van Buren County was formed in November 1833, from parts of Conway, Independence and Izard Counties becoming the 29th county in Arkansas. The county of Van Buren was named for President Martin Van Buren.
