The bill of sale in this collection dated March 7, 1898 is for the sale of property owned by the White County Democrat through vendors, A.W. Bumpass and H.R. Bumpass of Searcy, Arkansas to W.R. Townsend and S.E. Moore. The products purchased consisted of a printing press, job press, imposing stones, all types of cases and stands, chases, rollers, galleys, composing sticks, as well as other items.
