This collection includes one small Martin Luther edition, German Bible dated 1803, and one undated book, "New and Complete Concordance to the Holy Scriptures on the Basis of Cruden."

Biographical/Historical Note

This Bible and book belonged to the Oyler family. The Oylers left Germany and settled in Tennessee shortly after the War of 1812. They later moved to Arkansas and settled around Ash Flat, Sharp County, Arkansas.
