This collection consists of one resolution of the Arkansas Legislature to the U.S. Congress asking for a mail route from Huntsville to Waldron, dated January 15, 1859.
Biographical/Historical Note
Huntsville, Arkansas, established in 1927, is the county seat of Marion County. Waldron was incorporated as a town on December 17, 1852 and is the county seat of Scott County.
