This collection consists of one notice to Searcy County tax payers by N.J. McBride for re-election as county sheriff, Searcy county, Arkansas, dated May 17, 1882.
Biographical/Historical Note
N.J. McBride (1847-1918) served as sheriff of Searcy county in 1880 and again in 1892. Searcy County is located in the Boston Mountains and was established on December 13, 1838. Its county seat is Marshall, Arkansas.
