This collection contains prescription registers, correspondence, pharmacy licenses, and memorabilia.

Biographical/Historical Note

Charles Thomas Hall was born in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, the son of John T. and Elizabeth Heard Hall. He began his career in the pharmacy business there. In 1912, he moved to North Little Rock, Arkansas, where he was in the pharmacy business four years. He then moved to El Dorado, Arkansas, and in 1916 opened the Hall Drug Company, which he operated for thirty-three years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the El Dorado Masonic Lodge No. 13. He was a Scottish Rite Mason and Shriner. His son, Mack Hall, was manager of the Hall Drug Company.
