This collection contains a dance card for a dance held by the Hugh De Payens Commandery of the Grand Knights Templar in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 12, 1885.

Biographical/Historical Note

The first commandery of the Knights Templar, the Hugh de Payens Commandery, was organized in Little Rock, Arkansas on December 1853. The Little Rock, Arkansas Hugh de Payens Commandery received its charter on September 10, 1856. The Grand Commandery of the Knights Templar belong to the York Rite of masonry.
