This collection contains a photocopy of portions of the pension papers for William P. Barron completed in 1901 and 1907.

Biographical/Historical Note

William P. Barron was a Confederate soldier in Company E, Crawford's Regiment, Tennessee Volunteers. According to his pension record, he served from 1861-1865. He married Lucinda J. Palmer on October14, 1886, in Benton County, Arkansas. Barron was wounded in battle and applied for a pension in 1901. Barron died on December 2, 1912.
