This collection contains five letters written by Charles H. Willough by of Greenland, Arkansas in response to an editorial published in the Fayetteville Daily Democrat.
Biographical/Historical Note
Charles H. Willoughby was born on April 21, 1883. In 1931 he lived in Greenland, Arkansas, a small town three miles south of Fayetteville. That same year, Charles Willoughby wrote a series of letters in April and May in response to an editorial in the Fayetteville Daily Democrat in which he declared his illegitimacy. The letters were not published in the Fayetteville Daily Democrat.
