Biographical/Historical Note
Mary Elizabeth Brewster Paddock was born in Great Falls, New Hampshire to William and Nancy Brewster on December 25, 1831. She married Dr. Samuel Farwell Paddock in St. Louis, Missouri in June1858. Dr. Samuel Farwell served as a druggist and surgeon in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The Paddocks had two children, Gracie and Charley. Mary Paddock died April 7, 1911.
