Description
This collection contains photocopies of a notebook and a receipt. The notebook contains various records of expenses as well as family information, such as births, deaths, and marriages. It was likely kept by Charles Lovesey. The receipt is for the sale of a slave to Thomas Lovesey. Thomas may have been the son of Charles and Malinda Lovesey.
Biographical/Historical Note
The Lovesey family lived in Russellville, Pope County, Arkansas. Craig Lovesey was born around 1854. He married Malinda Miller on July 19, 1881.
