This collection contains a typescript of the biography of Samuel Tyer of Wynne, Arkansas taken from Goodspeed's History of Eastern Arkansas, 1889.
Biographical/Historical Note
Samuel Tyer was an early resident of Cross County, Arkansas. Born in Tennessee, Tyer moved his family first to Missouri and then to Arkansas when he could not make a living in Missouri. He married Nancy Newton in 1838.
