Biographical/Historical Note
Philander Littell, the son of William Littell, was born in Kentucky about 1816. Philander Littell was an early attorney serving St. Francis, Arkansas, Chicot, Crittenden, Phillips, and Monroe counties. In 1854, he was elected St. Francis County and Probate Judge.
