Description
This collection contains voter registration lists, as well as additions and deletions to voter registration lists from various Arkansas Counties.
Biographical/Historical Note
The voter registration lists were compiled as a part of the Reconstruction efforts of the Fourth Military District, which consisted of Mississippi and Arkansas. Precinct maps accompany the 1867 books for the following counties: Ashley, Benton, Desha, Hot Spring, Jefferson, Ouachita, Prairie, Pulaski, Scott, and Sebastian. Arrangement of names varies within each county. Lists for most counties are on one roll of microfilm.
