This collection contains a mortgage coupon bond held by Charles E. and Ada Copeland and payable to the Fidelity Savings Bank and Loan Company of Bentonville, Arkansas. The book is dated July 11, 1906 and the Copelands promise to pay the mortgage in full by July 1, 1911.
Biographical/Historical Note
Charles Ellis Copeland was born in March of 1866 in Indiana. He married Ada Ann Fenno on July 31, 1888, in Benton County, Arkansas. Copeland died on November 23, 1923, in Oklahoma.
