This collection contains one diary of the last territorial Governor of Arkansas, William S. Fulton.
Biographical/Historical Note
William Savin Fulton served as the last territorial governor of Arkansas, 1829 to 1835, and afterward as a United States Senator. This diary was written when Fulton was a young law student and a volunteer soldier at Fort McHenry during 1814. He was born June 2, 1795 in Cecil County, Maryland.
