Biographical/Historical Note
The Soulesbury Institute was a Methodist education facility which was established in 1849 at Sixth and Water Streets in Batesville, Arkansas. It continued to operate until soon after the Civil War. This collection is the account of B. H. Neely, guardian of Francis J. Denton, Elvira Denton, Franklin Denton, and William Denton.
