This collection contains letters, pension papers, and Grand Army of the Republic papers belonging to Theodore Percival McGlone of Cane Creek and Enola, Arkansas.

Biographical/Historical Note

Theodore Percival McGlone (1831-1913) was born November 22, 1831 in Carter County, Kentucky. McGlone married Minerva Woodworth in Conway County, Arkansas July 15, 1855. They had three children; Lucretia, William, and Frances. McGlone enlisted in Company G, Arkansas Third Cavalry, United States Army on October 28, 1863. After the war he served as the postmaster of Cane Creek, Arkansas. McGlone moved to Enola, Arkansas by 1900 where he died on September 29, 1913.
