This collection contains materials pertaining to Fred Schader's activities as Sheriff/Tax Collector, Secretary of the Arkansas division of the Traveler's Protective Association and as a wholesale grocer.
Biographical/Historical Note
Fred Schader was born in 1863 and served as Sheriff and Ex-Officio Tax Collector of Pulaski County, Arkansas, between 1900 and 1904. Prior to that time, he was Secretary of the Arkansas division of the Traveler's Protective Association (1897-1898). In addition, Schader was a businessman, owning and operating a wholesale grocery brokerage in Little Rock.
