Description

This is the first issue of the Woman's Chronicle, a suffrage newspaper established and published in Little Rock by Kate Cunningham, Mary Burt Brooks and Mrs. William Cahoon.

Biographical/Historical Note

Established in March 1888 in Little Rock, the Woman's Chronicle was written and published by Kate Cunningham, Mary Burt Brooks and Mrs. William Cahoon at the corner of Main and 2nd Streets. The weekly newspaper supported women's suffrage and temperance and ran until 1894.
