World War II propaganda posters have always been among my favorite historical images with the iconic "Rosie the Riveter" images being at the top. This image is not of Rosie or by the same artist but I have found that I prefer this one to the more iconic image. I love that this poster represents so many of the ways that women contributed to the war effort at home. - Elizabeth Freeman
