Description

This is a Genuine Curteich-Chicago "C.T. American Art" postcard. It has a color image of the Main Building on the University of Arkansas campus, and the lawn in front of it. It was never mailed.

Biographical/Historical Note

The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville's Main Building opened in 1875. It was built in the Second Empire Architectural style by the firm Mayes and Oliver. The building is still in use after undergoing a massive restoration in the late 1980's.
