Description

This is a color postcard with an aerial image of Lake Fort Smith including a bridge, field land, and mountains surrounding the lake on the front. There is a typed note on the back from David to Clara Eno. It was mailed in on August 17, 1938.

Biographical/Historical Note

Lake Fort Smith is located in the Ozark National Forest. The lake was made in 1936 by the Works Progress Administration and was expanded and joined with Lake Sheppard Springs in 2006.
