Description
Clead Driftwood, wife of renowned Arkansas musician Jimmie Driftwood demonstrates the dancing dolls. Father and son Glen and Robin Branscum play accompaniment. A dancing doll is a small, articulated figure with a stick in their back for the performer to hold. When placed feet-first on a thin board, the doll dancer can tap a rhythm which causes the doll to clog dance. The dolls foot falls can be heard in this recording.
