Letter from Colonel C. Peyton to Governor Henry M. Rector notifying the election of officers of the Totten Artillery Company in Little Rock on February 12, 1861.

Head Quarters 13th Regt
Arkansas Militia
Little Rock Feb. 14, 1861
I herby certify
to his Excellency Henry M Rector
Governor of the state of Arkansas
and commander in chief of the
Militia thereof. Was at an Election
was held at the Market House in the
city of Little Rock on the evening
of Febry. 12th 1861. For Commissioned
officers of an artillery company of
volunteers. Called by them the "Totten
Artillery Company." When the following
officers were duly Elected according
to the Militia Laws of the state.
