Biographical/Historical Note
The Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Western Railroad was a small railroad company in northwest Arkansas. It began operations as the Rogers Southwestern on August 15, 1906. It reorganized under the name Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Western on January 1, 1908, and operated until 1911.
