Dear Pauline,
I was out of town when
your appointment to the University
Board was announced and
have just learned of it -
Congratulations! I hope
you make those men
sit up and take notice.
Arthur joins me in the
congratulations. It will be nice
to have a Pi Phi, too, on the
Board. Last June, when the U.A.
was about to purchase the old
Pi Phi House, Miss Seudder blocked
the procedure by telling them that
the house was not fit for girls to
live in. Had you been present
you could have denied that lie.
She surely does pick on our group,
partly because of her school day
rivalry, I guess. Again, congrats!
and lots of love.
Marion
