Margaret Louise Sims Reichardt scrapbook, 1921-1927

Margaret Louise Sims was born July 19, 1907, in Pulaski County, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Turner Ashby Sims, born in 1869, in the State of Missouri, and Leslie Belle Sims, born in 1876. She had 3 brothers. Margaret attended Little Rock High School, was a socially active person, and participated in many activities.

Margaret married George Francis Reichardt III on July 20, 1925. They had a son together and divorced in 1933. The 1940s census shows her working as a clerk and living with her parents, son, and a brother in Little Rock. In 1943, she married Thomas Alton Blakeley and moved to Texas. After his death in 1963, Margaret remained unmarried until her death in 1986, in Longview, Texas, at the age of 79.

This scrapbook was created by Margaret Louise Sims and focuses on her life, interests, and friends from 1921-1927.
