This is a typed letter from Governor Harvey Parnell in reply to a telegram from John Buxton. The letter states that every effort is being made to supply drought relief and that the Red Cross will soon have funds for disbursement.
Harvey Parnell was the 29th Governor for the state of Arkansas and served from 1928-1933.
