Albert Pike became owner of the Arkansas Advocate Jan. 27, 1835.

Congress passed act to appoint judge of Missouri Territory to reside in Arkansas, Jan. 27, 1814. Geo. Bullitt named.

Arkansas Library Association organized Jan. 27, 1911.
