This collection contains excerpts from Robert F. Kellam's diary that pertain to the Civil War. The handwritten transcript was written by Mrs. A.A. Tufts.

Biographical/Historical Note

Robert Franklin Kellam was born April 5, 1825. He was a prominent businessman in Camden; he opened a grocery and provision store with Lee Morgan under the name Kellam and Morgan. He and his wife Katherine had three children: Martha, Frank, and Mary. Kellam died October 9, 1876.
