Biographical/Historical Note
Jewish women first organized in Little Rock as the Hebrew Ladies Benevolent Association in 1867. From 1893-1913, the Temple Aid Society served the community. Today, the Temple Sisterhood focuses on the care of the temple and the education of the temple community.
