Biographical/Historical Note
The Sunset Garden Club of Little Rock, Arkansas, was organized on December 7, 1933, at the home of Mrs. G.C. May of Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. W.H. MacAvis, chairman of Garden Club extension work and president of Park Hill Garden Club, served as chair. Mrs. H.G. Woodsmall was elected president. Also attending the organizational meeting were the presidents of the Federated Garden Clubs of Greater Little Rock and North Little Rock, Arkansas.
