Description
This collection is comprised of a high school graduate scrapbook owned by Marguerite Brannen of Little Rock. This item has photographs, invitations, letters, and diary-like entries.
Biographical/Historical Note
Marguerite Brannen was born to Walter and Emma Brannen on January 10, 1904 in Arkansas. She had five other siblings, four of whom lived to adulthood. Brannen graduated from Little Rock High in the spring of 1920. She married Charles Plowman in 1924 and the couple had two daughters. Marguerite Brannen Plowman died on June 5, 1997. Her husband died the following year on December 27, 1998. The couple is buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
