This collection contains the recollections of Richard J. Bailey of the Third Arkansas Infantry.

Biographical/Historical Note

The Third Arkansas Infantry Regiment was formed in May and June of 1861. It served for the duration of the Civil War, from the late months of 1861, through to the surrender at Appomattox Court House in 1865.
