This collection contains a program from the first Southwest Congress of Optometry, which was held at the Marion Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas, on January 8-10, 1923.
Biographical/Historical Note
The Southwest Congress of Optometry was organized to fill a need in the South Central Regional District of the American Optometric Association, which at the time, was under the management of Dr. W.B. Georgia, of Waco, Texas. It is composed of the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
