This collection consists of one Holly Grove High School "The Panthers" Annual from Holly Grove, Monroe County, Arkansas, dated 1931.

Biographical/Historical Note

Holly Grove was incorporated in 1876 after the Arkansas Central Railroad came through the area in 1872. Monroe County, named for James Monroe, fifth President of the United States, was founded on November 2, 1829. It was previously part of Arkansas and Phillips counties. Its county seat is Clarendon, Arkansas.
