This collection contains a letter written by Albert Sidney "Syd" Killgore a Magnolia, Arkansas lawyer to his nephew Minor Killgore who was in the 153 regiment and sick in the Base Hospital at Camp Beauregard, Louisiana.

Biographical/Historical Note

Albert Sidney Killgore was a lawyer in Magnolia, Arkansas. Killgore wrote a letter to his nephew Minor Killgore who was in the 153rd regiment and in the Base Hospital at Camp Beauregard, Louisiana on March 19, 1918. Albert was writing to his nephew to see if Minor could get a furlough and come home to recuperate.
