This collection contains two letters from 1846-1847 regarding the business matters of John Henry and Edward Cunningham of Van Buren, Arkansas.

Biographical/Historical Note

Edward Cunningham, a native of Virginia, was a businessman in Van Buren, Crawford County, Arkansas. He partnered with John Drennen and David Thompson in a mercantile business until it was dissolved in May 1832. Later, he joined with John Henry to form Henry and Cunningham.
