This collection contains photocopies of court documents in the case of Notrebe vs. Notrebe and Frederick Notrebe's will.
Biographical/Historical Note
Frederic Notrebe was born in 1780 in France. He married Mary Felicite Billiette in 1811 at Arkansas Post. Notrebe died on April 4, 1849 in New Orleans, Louisiana. His will had been completed on July 17, 1835. The will went to probate court on June 7, 1849. The case within this collection involves his widow Mary F. and her mother Elizabeth Billiette and his estate. The case occurred in the Arkansas Circuit Court.
