This collection contains legal documents and papers belonging to Richard D. Chotard of Chicot County, Arkansas and family between 1898 and 1910.
Biographical/Historical Note
Richard D. Chotard was born May 1861 in Mississippi. Virginia J. Craig was born November 1869 in Kentucky. They were married in 1897. They had two children, Robert C., born April 1897, and Elizabeth B., born August 1899. Alice K. Craig, Virginia's sister, lived with the Chotards. Richard D. Chotard served as Chicot County, Arkansas, Circuit Clerk.
