This collection contains one administrators notice, requiring executors, administrators, guardians, and others to attend the next meeting of the circuit court in Davidsonville. It is dated May 27, 1822.
Biographical/Historical Note
Lawrence County, known as the "Mother of Counties," was established in 1815 as part of the Missouri Territory. It predates the Territory of Arkansas, which was not created until 1819, and included parts of Missouri and Oklahoma. The county was one of the five original counties of Arkansas.
