This collection contains two promissory notes.
Biographical/Historical Note
On July 4, 1836, Joh W. Whitson, William Whitson, and Charles Whitson signed two separate promissory notes to Archibald Yell, William Hale, David Walker, and William Curetan. One note promised to pay one hundred dollars in two years, the other promised to pay one hundred dollars and fifty cents in one year.
