This collection contains notes and a transcript of an interview of Robert Wilson by a Dr. Wood. The material includes Wilson's memories of Indians, Lovely and Washington counties, E.C. Boudinot, Isaac Murphy, Stephen K. Jones and family, the Civil War and battle at Fayetteville, and schools.

Biographical/Historical Note

Robert Wilson was born about 1847 and became an Arkansas state senator in the 1920s. His father was a lawyer, and was one of the first white men to settle in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
